What is Reiki?
Reiki (Pronounced Ray-key), is a form of energy healing. It is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes deep healing. Reiki was discovered by Mikao Usui in 1922 and was brought to the United States in the 1940’s. During a session, the client lies fully clothed on a treatment table. The practitioner lightly places their hands on the client or directly above the client and acts as a conduit or channel. Universal Life Force Energy flows into the practitioner and out their hands to the client. The healing energy connects with the client and every cell in their body, mind, soul and spirit to promote deep healing, relaxation, wellness, clarity, presence and peace.
Holy Fire® III Reiki
Holy Fire® III Reiki is a powerful form of Reiki introduced by the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). The word holy is not meant to be religious. The root meaning is "to be whole and complete" and this is how it is used in Holy Fire III Reiki. It is both powerful and gentle. It heals through purification, guidance and empowerment. Holy Fire® III Reiki is a combination of traditional Usui Reiki and a contemporary evolution of Reiki. Some of its attributes include:
- Works continuously even when not thinking about it and spontaneously heals issues as they come up, without having to re-live them.
- Always respects free will.
- Heals deeply and quickly without distress.
- Heals relationships and interactions with others.
- Releases and replaces worry with a sense of safety in a most pronounced way.
- Spontaneously provides guidance that is palatable for every level of life experience.
- Develops qualities of Joy, Peace, Love, Compassion, forgiveness of yourself and others, becoming non-judgmental and creating a tremendous feeling of spiritual freedom and happiness.
- One of the more wonderful effects is a feeling of being loved. This is a deep and refined feeling that is very nurturing.
Karuna Reiki®
Karuna Reiki® is described as the Reiki system of Divine Compassion. It is the energy of compassionate action, compassion combined with wisdom. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others. Karuna Reiki® assists us in healing the qualities that are out of alignment with divine love. It connects us to the higher vibration within and of the world around us. Through this connection, we begin to see our lives with new eyes.
Karuna Reiki® goes very deep, gently but quickly. It can feel like intense heat, wind, ice, electrical impulses, vibrations, lightening, humming, or gentle pulsations. Karuna Reiki® always takes the perfect form whether it is something you feel, see, hear, taste, smell or simply know.
Although Karuna Reiki® facilitates healing, it does not do the healing. Karuna Reiki® energy simply assists by reflecting information to the body's systems and allows healing to take place from within the person. It is deeply powerful and deeply healing.
